PasadenaTakeOut.com came about when I was first moved to Pasadena a few years ago and was trying to find where everything was.

Someone had told me the name of a pizza place that was supposed to be good; being from Boston, that was an important thing to me. I compare all pizza to Pizzeria Regina in the North End of Boston close to the Boston Garden…it’s right in the middle of the neighborhood…great pizza and waitresses with attitude…the place is awesome.

Anyway, I searched and searched online trying to find this place that I was told about and finally found it…there domain name isn’t even close to the name of the place…which is why it was hard to find…anyway, their pizza is great, not Regina’s great, but great.

Now being single, I order out a lot so I thought it would be cool if there were a site that had local restaurants listed with ratings and comments from users (those features are coming soon)…there are plenty of sites out there like that but none that I’ve found specifically for Pasadena…PasadenaTakeOut.com was born!

p.s. That pizza place I was talking to is Home of The World’s Largest Pizza…if you like thin crust pizza…YUM!
